If you think Kate’s maths question was weird …

Do you see the dancer turning clockwise or anti-clockwise?

If clockwise, then you use more of the right side of the brain and vice versa.

According to the blurb that came with the email this was in, most of us would see the dancer turning anti-clockwise though you can try to focus and change the direction.

I see clockwise and find it difficult to make her go the other way.

P.S. Kate’s maths question is here.

As often suspected, my brain’s disordered - why does she keep changing direction! Generally clockwise!

Clockwise for me unless I focus on something else (like the text below) then she turns anti-clockwise in the corner of my eye.

Hi, Mum here. First glance she was going anti-clockwise with her left leg in the air but I can make her turn the other way by concentrating on her hip and telling myself that her right leg is in the air. After a second or so she starts to go clockwise. If I just watch but don’t try to control it she alternates but mostly turns anti-clockwise for me. Isn’t the brain capable of amazing things!

I’m like Rob, where she changed direction when I looked at the text below, only she started ANTI-clockwise for me then went clockwise.

What does this say about me? Am I abnormal? Don’t answer that, Rob

I started ANTI and when looking elsewhere she switched - I can then keep her going if i follow her leg around in that direction - otherwise it slips straight back to anti-clockwise.

I sent this round work the other day - it tripped everyone out!
