Cup Day 07

Well we didn’t have a good day on the punt (except Paul’s win on El Pauli in the last) but we had a good day on the tucker.

    Sim & Bek came for lunch at our place and Karen & Nick and Clare came around later. We were so busy chatting that we forgot to watch the race. Is this Unaustralian or very Australian? Anyway, looks as though you had a good day even if the right horse didn’t win.

    So you method for picking a winner wasn’t very efficient!!!!!

    Looks like a good day and a good feed. Is there going to be a spread like that on the weekend when we come down for your birthday? ;)

    Well I had the horse racing on until noon as that’s Dr Phil time!

    I totally forgot to watch the rest. It’s not a public holiday up here so it wasn’t until I heard the 5pm news on the radio in the car that I realised the big race had been on.

    I’m with Mum- is it unAustralian to forget to watch the Melbourne Cup, or is it very Australian? Hmmm, maybe this is a separate blogging topic!
